We spoke to the beautiful and multitalented Victoria Nunns (Beauty Blogger, Makeup Artist, Illustrator and Graphic Designer) about her beauty regime, and found out how she creates her flawless complexion.

Tell us a typical day in your life.

I have all sorts of typical days, as I’m a bit of a Jack of all trades. It definitely starts with the gym – a good sweat up followed with a post workout protein shake (with my Adashiko collagen powder of course). Sometimes I might have a day filled with design work, out on the water with our extreme watersports business, filming and editing makeup looks or making up a bride and her bridal party! Most days its a combination of all above and I wouldn’t have it any other way. At night I try to relax a bit and watch some of my favourite tv series, catch up with friends and definitely eat good food.

What’s your favourite way to take your Adashiko?

I mostly take it in the morning with my protein shake as its tasteless and doesn’t add any flavour to my drinks! Failing that, in a hot cup of tea.

What benefits have you noticed since taking Adashiko?

My skin improved initially, and I had fewer breakouts. I also noticed that my nails grow at an almost alarming rate, I have to trim them so often now! After taking it for a year I started to notice that my forehead lines were disappearing, and even the most skeptical of people in my life noticed before I said anything myself! Most people comment that I look younger than my age (nearly 29) and I like to thank my Adashiko for that!

Aside from Adashiko, what else do you do to look after your skin?

I am a big believer in good skincare. I always remove my makeup before bed and use Nimue skin care to cleanse and condition. Then I use one of a few favourite serums and moisturisers to lock in the goodness – at the moment Lancome Energie De Vie (sooo good). I do face masks weekly and ALWAYS wear sunscreen.

You’re well known for your beautiful makeup looks. What is your go-to makeup look for day-to-day wear?

In NZ, for day to day, I still like to feel made up. I wear primer, foundation, concealer, powder, eyeshadow, mascara, brow mascara, blush, highlighter and tinted lip balm. Most days in Fiji it’s a little too hot and humid to wear makeup, so I will stick with a tinted sunscreen, brow mascara, and lip balm! I would like to experiment with tinting but haven’t got around to that yet!

What are your top five “desert island” beauty products?

Atzen Sunscreen (great for face and body without breaking me out) or Nimue Tinted Sunscreen, Baby Lips or YSL Tinted lip balm, Lancome Doll Eyes Waterproof Mascara, Chanel Sol Le Te Tan Cream Bronzer, Lancome Sourcil Styler (brow mascara).

What are your top tips for staying fit and healthy while travelling?

I think it depends on how long you are travelling for. If it’s a short period, I like to give myself a ‘break’ from the ‘health’ as sometimes it’s so hard to maintain, like to treat myself and am generally doing active activities anyway. If it’s for a longer period of time, I like to find a local gym where I can continue my workouts! Eating well is the largest part so finding some great eateries that have healthy options is always good. I like to drink heaps of water too, and avoid fizzy most of the time! I always take my Adashiko with me though, even to places like Bali and Mexico!
